WORT – Woman only radio training

 Den 21 februari 2024 bjuds forskare, utbildare producenter och företrädare för Radio & kvinnonätverk från Irland, Spanien, Österrike, Schweiz, Finland, Sverige, Luxemburg, Tyskland och Slovenien in till ett Zoom möte.

Som en del av EU-projektet ”WORT Women only radio training – Women counter-storying their lives” arrangerar vi mötet för att analysera den rådande situationen och för att samla strategier mot, initiativ och lösningar för de rådande förhållandena och för att etablera ett internationellt utbyte.

Evenemanget kommer att äga rum via Zoom och på engelska.

Agenda of 2nd WORT Online Event “Grrrl+ Radio/ Women* Appropriating the microphone” – 21st February 2024, 10.00 – 14.00 o’clock

(women is being used here in the most inclusive sense, to include all cis, non-binary, queer and transgender women)

On February 2nd 2024, a group of 14 people from 11 countries tried to take stock of the reality of women* participation and presence in community radio during the online event ”Gender equality and Inclusion in Community Radio”. We looked at challenges and possible solutions for gender equality in our organisations. This second round will focus on the perspectives. Central questions are: How do we make community radio more attractive for women and what needs to happen so that new gender equality structures not only emerge but also remain in place?
